Our Projects & Partners
Drawing on decades of work in the field, the Mérieux Foundation’s projects are supported by strong partnerships with international organizations, local ministries and key healthcare stakeholders. We frequently collaborate with scientists, university researchers, NGOs and community leaders.
One of the keys to our success comes from working with local communities, instead of doing for them. This allows us to leverage their strengths and catalyze the development of sustainable initiatives and capacities that are locally owned and managed.
Our Washington, DC-based team at the Mérieux Foundation USA engages American partners and donors to support the foundation’s work in the field. We also partner with global development companies on government-funded initiatives for capacity-building and global health security.
